I have everything I need and really ever wanted. A loving wife, 2 paid for cars, an amazing house, a fantastic job, free time whenever I want or need it, and enough money to do anything I want. How did I reach this magical place? I’ll tell you.
I used the law of attraction, faith, responsibility, and present moment awareness/freedom of thought. I also changed the typical “Have. Do. Be.” mindset to a “Be. Do. Have.” mindset. I’ll explain each item for you my dear reader.
Law of Attraction: In short, like attracts like. You may have also heard it explained as “karma”, “you reap what you sow”, “where your attention flows, your energy goes”, etc. What it means is whatever you think about enough manifests in your life. There are a lot of caveats and wrong ways to do it though…I’ve spent years figuring that out.
Faith: This is simple for me. It includes having faith in myself, in god/the universe/the divine/the subconscious/etc, and in happiness and love being able to overcome or avoid anything negative. This was built and prayed for.
Responsibility: I took responsibility that everything I perceive around me is a reflection of me. This took awhile, but I figured it out. I had to wrap my head around the fact that everything around me at any given moment has no value until I perceive it.
Present moment awareness/freedom of thought: To me this was being alert of how I felt in the present moment and watching what I thought. If my thoughts were negative, I felt negative. If my thoughts were positive, I felt positive. So I chose a few things in my life I was very grateful for and when negative thoughts came, I would focus on the things I was grateful for. Using that process, I was slowly able to back away from the situation enough to be able to choose how I would feel about a situation and what it meant to me.
“Have. Do. Be.” is how most people think, including me previously. Here’s an example to clarify that:
HAVE: “I need to HAVE $500 to start a business. So I will wait until I have it.”. No positive action, no results.
DO: “When I have $500 I will advertise my product or service.”. Still no positive action and no results, possibly some stress or doubts creeping in as to the viability of the business.
BE: “After I advertise, then my product or service will sell and I will BE successful and happy.”. Still no action or results.
In this specific example, there’s a lot of stress and hoping for $500 with no positive action or outcome.
“Be. Do. Have” on the other hand is highly successful and much more pleasurable. Here’s the example above using “Be. Do. Have.” instead.
BE: “If I were a successful happy business owner, how would I start out this venture with no capital expenditure? A successful business person would sell their product/service any way that was available right then. I have family, friends, and coworkers.”. Figuring out what a successful person would do in their shoes. Hurdle #1.
DO :”I will sell to friends, family, coworkers, whoever might be interested. Hey, that got me $500, I can advertise professionally now!”. Positive and easy action towards success. Hurdle #2.
HAVE: “I”ve sold $500 worth of product and now that I’m advertising, even more will come in! I feel great!”. Success and happiness achieved. Hurdle #3. Now the person is ready for more success.
I was able to create some success with “Have. Do. Be.”, but the effort was huge and the results were small. Utilizing “Be. Do. Have.” I have been able to achieve anything and everything I’ve ever wanted. I have absolute faith that if you focus on molding yourself into who you need to be now, you will be able to do what needs to get done to have everything you want as well!
